These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Resume Selector (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “the Service”). By accessing or using our website and platform, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into these Terms. Resume Selector is designed for business and professional use only.

2. Use of the Service

  • You may use Resume Selector for lawful HR and recruitment purposes within your organization.
  • You agree not to misuse the Service, reverse engineer, copy, resell, or access it in unauthorized ways.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Account Registration

You may be required to provide certain information (such as your name, email, and company) to register an account or join our waiting list. You agree that all information provided is accurate and up-to-date.

4. Payments & Refunds

  • Payments for Resume Selector are processed via Stripe. We do not store your payment details.
  • Pricing is as displayed on our website. All payments are one-time for lifetime access, unless otherwise stated.
  • We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.

5. User Content & Data

  • You retain ownership of all resumes and content you upload to the platform.
  • You grant Resume Selector the right to process your data solely for providing and improving our services, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • We will not share, sell, or use your data for purposes unrelated to resume screening and HR analytics.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, software, and intellectual property on Resume Selector (except user-uploaded resumes) remain our exclusive property. You may not use our branding, code, or design assets without permission.

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable and uninterrupted access to Resume Selector, but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may suspend or restrict access for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons.

8. Third-Party Services

  • Stripe: For secure payment processing (see Stripe Terms).
  • OpenAI: For AI-powered resume screening (see OpenAI Terms).
  • Other compliant third-party providers may be used for email, analytics, or customer support.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Resume Selector is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that our platform will meet all your requirements or deliver uninterrupted, error-free service.

In no event shall Resume Selector, its owners, partners, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the service. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as our services evolve. Any changes will be posted on this page and, if significant, we will notify users by email. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and, where applicable, the State of Delaware. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts in these jurisdictions.
